It may be just me but the longer I strive to teach my kids to walk in the way of the Lord the more I see how often I fail to do that myself. The lesson my kids learn most from me would have to be “this is what we are supposed to do but this what sin leads us to do instead”. Raising children continually shows me my need for a Savior. I am pointed back to the Cross several times a day. Not only in pointing them to the Cross for forgiveness and grace but to find forgiveness and grace for myself. In teaching them what it looks like to be a follower of Christ I see where I am lacking. The Lord uses EVERY conversation that we have about their sin as an opportunity to show me mine. I show them scripture and teach them the truth of the Word of God knowing that only He can produce the miracle of salvation and sanctification. I did see that one....I heard this one on Wretched so decided to look up the video....It is just such a blatant lie....the fact that this one was NOT undercover is one of the reasons I wanted to post. I keep hearing, "Oh that was just THAT clinic or "they" cant help what their workers say and do" (think ACORN)...so this one is just like a mouth stopper...like, really, what are you gonna say for this one? And the problem is that people believe this....they are trusting that what this woman says on a tv talk show is accurate...and it causes outrage over misinformation....it is sad to see people that otherwise would not agree with abortion be deceived into supporting something based on false information.
